She didn't like it so I went to take it back to refund in cash, as she'd seen another piece she liked at another jewelers. Upon going back less than 24 hours later, I was told that Wallace Bishop does not do refunds, they only give gift cards instead. Despite going there for many years, I had never once been informed by any sales person that they did no refunds. It should be made clear what the return policies are when buying a gift for someone else. I've received unwanted gifts from other jewelers like Michael Hill etc, and there has never been a problem with refunds. Service from Francesca and the store manager was poor, and I don't wish to spend my money there again.
